Leidy J. 1865 CRETACEOUS REPTILES OF THE UNITED STATES with 140 pp., and 20 fine plates
of fossil reptiles including much on Mososaurs. One of Leidy’s great papers on North
American fossil Reptilia. Contained in Smithsonian Contributions to Knowledge, Volume 14
entire volume presented here. The the volume has overall light+ exterior wear with two
small mm-scale tears along spine cloth ex-library but the only markings are the small
spine label and period book plate with presentation from the Smithsonian to the Salem
Antheum dated 1867. Contents are clean and very good. Also in the volume is Meek F. B.
and Hayden F. V. 1864 PALEONTOLOGY OF THE UPPER MISSOURI: A REPORT UPON COLLECTIONS MADE
